![]() ![]() I also added Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Mist for a subtle sparkle. Of course I needed some splatters: water sprinkles and some white acrylic paint. The fun about this technique is that the raised pattern will get more ink and it makes the pattern stand out more. So I gently applied some Villanious Potion Distress Oxide inks on the edges, fading it out towards the middle with the help of some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide ink. It is gorgeous on its own, but if you follow me, you know already how much I love inkblending. I took a piece of SSS Lavender Purple cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine with the embossing folder. I have just rediscovered the world of embossing folders and wanted to try another technique with the snowflakes, let me show you. It is called the SSS Snowflake Visions and has the most beautiful snowlfakes on it. I have recently purchased a gorgeous 3D embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp and I could not wait to try it. I hope you liked my card inspiration today and will keep checking back for more! It adds so much to the design, super pretty! I also added the sentiment and embellished each flower with a matte enamel dot from Doodlebug. I used a small blending brush and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink to add a little shading towards the center of each flower and adhered them to my blue background. ![]() I also cut the SSS Thinking of you sentiment die from blue glittery cardstock. While I was die cutting I also cut a bunch of flowers from SSS Lemon Chiffon cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Spring Flowers Backdrop die set. When it was dry I die cut it with a Wonky Rectangle from Simon Says Stamp. I added a lot of water droplets and diluted ink splatters for a textured look. I started with quickly ink blending a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide inks. I had to ease my soul with crafting it out too, so here is my card to show solidarity. In our crafty community there are card drives going on too, to collect money for charity. Hungary accepted so many families already and the kindness of people really warms my heart. We all know people who have relatives there, kids talk about a potential escalation of war among themselves at school and they are collecting goods which will be taken to the refugees. The terror going on in our neighbouring country, Ukraine keeps my mind occupied since the war started. Don’t forget, if you like this stamp set, act fast as all STAMPtember sets sell out in a few hours usually! I hope you got inspired and liked my card. The sentiment I white heat embossed on a mustard banner and backed it with a smaller grey one (all dies are from Frames and Flags) before popping them up with 3D foam squares.Īs a finishing touch I added clear shimmer to the blanket and pillows and emphasized some details with glossy accents. Then I die cut a white scalloped rectangle with the Frames and Flags die set from Newton’s Nook Designs, cut a piece of patterned paper to fit inside the stitching and also added a thin strip of woodgrain cardstock as floor, which I have previously inkblended with Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inks. I fussy cut all the images and arranged the pets on the couch between the pillows. I also stamped the couch on patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather Remix paper pad and added some shading with a grey marker. Iam thrilled to participate in Simon Says Stamp‘s STAMPtember event today with an exclusive set designed by Newton’s Nook Designs: Cozy Wishes! It is a limited edition stamp/die set available only at Simon Says Stamp, so when it is sold out, it is gone for good.įor my card I stamped and coloured the images with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers: DR5, DR3, DR05, BO2, BO1, BO05, GY3, GY2, GY1, BG8, BG7, BG6, BG5, BG2, BG1, BG05. I will upload this card to the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and also to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Stencil it. I also cut a bunch of Autumn Leaves from coloured cardstock scraps and a banner with the Frames and Flags die set from Speckled Eggshell (Lawn Fawn) cardstock to hold the sentiment, which I stamped in brown.Īfter assembling the card I decided to distress the edges of the background with Ground Espresso ink and a blending brush. Until it was drying I stamped and coloured the girl from the Pumpkin Latte stamp set using Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers.I cut her out with the coordinating die. The result is a gorgeous, dimensional and glittery background, I love it! ![]() I started with a kraft cardbase and used the Tree Rings stencil with Gina K Glitz Glitter gel which I mixed with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink. Today’s coffee card is a bit more elegant and cozy: I was playing with some of my favourite things from Newton’s Nook Designs. ![]()
